Ladies and Gentlemen: The call of the organizational meeting is being held on Monday, November 12th, despite the fact that it is a holiday.

RE: Call of Organizational Meeting
In accordance with Section 3.2(a) of the Town Charter, a meeting of the East Hartford Town Council is hereby called for Monday, November 12, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers.
1. The Mayor shall preside over the meeting at the Call to Order.
2.The Town Clerk shall administer the Oath of Office to all elected officials.
3. The Council shall nominate and vote on the member selected as Chair/Deputy Mayor.
4. The Council shall, if it desires, establish the office of Vice Chair by resolution and nominate and vote on the
individual selected as Vice Chair.
5. The Council shall nominate and vote on the Clerk of the Council.
6. The Council shall establish the time and place of the Council meetings and the adoption of rules of parliamentary procedure to be used at all Town Council meetings.
7. The Chair shall announce the selection of Majority and Minority leaders.
